Correct ! It would be nice to avoid reinstall.

Reinstallation will not help you, because RoboTask's settings will be kept in system registry.

This is not a very strong protection, just a foolproof feature. This is necessary when one man creates tasks and installs it onto another computers where work another unskilled users.
