when I want to view or edit global or system variables, I have to leave the current task. it is quite uncomfortable. it would be more convenient if the user could see these variables at any time with a hot key

Or even better, edit it while you are in the task and choosing variables. Like a "in-line" editing.

You can do this right now.
When you choose variable in any action editor you can edit the list of global and local variables

A hotkey would be great, though. The global variables window is probably one of the most used in RoboTask...
