I tried to install the Robotask service in Server 2008 (x64) with no luck.
Is it possible to work around this?
Will the service function with Server 2008?

Unfortunately we have no possibility to test the software under Windows Server 2008 as yet.
I think that Server 2008 and Vista have same (or very similar) core. New core of Windows prohibits interaction with desktop for any services.
You can install and uninstall service. You can start and stop service from "Computer management", but you can't interact with service from desktop directly.
