I have noticed, not just through an RDP connection but locally as well, that sometimes the green icon for the Robotask service does not always show up in the lower right hand corner. It seems to work sometimes and not others.
This seems to have come in with Ver. 2.4.
Sure would be nice to somehow get into the service some other way!

Try to log off your session, wait 5-10 seconds, and logon again.
