Hello
I am able to delete emails and send them automatically to the Trash folder but how would I configure a task to run and empty my trash folder?

It depends on you email program.
I think that you always can do this by using keyboard and mouse simulation...

But I do not recommend doing this, as deleting some information is a potentially dangerous operation.
