Hi Oleg, hi Alexey,

like mentioned before in this post it would be great to also have the possibility to exclude folders via the 'Exclude Masks'.

Example: We want to synchronize a whole folder-structure but without some specific sub-folders and as directly as possible via the function 'Synchronize Folders'.

>>> Synchronize Folders
Folder 1: Parent-Folder-A

Contains:
Parent-Folder-A\Sub-Folder-A
Parent-Folder-A\Sub-Folder-B
Parent-Folder-A\Sub-Folder-C
Parent-Folder-A\Sub-Folder-D

Folder 2: Parent-Folder-B

Contains:
-

Exclude Masks:
Sub-Folder-B,Sub-Folder-C

Result:
Folder 1: Parent-Folder-A

Contains:
Parent-Folder-A\Sub-Folder-A
Parent-Folder-A\Sub-Folder-B
Parent-Folder-A\Sub-Folder-C
Parent-Folder-A\Sub-Folder-D

Folder 2: Parent-Folder-B

Contains:
Parent-Folder-A\Sub-Folder-A
Parent-Folder-A\Sub-Folder-D

How's the current state on your To-Do-List for this topic?

Best Regards,
Alex

I would also like to know if this is feature is possible, when I try to exclude a folder via the Exclude Mask in a Search for Files action i just cannot get it to work, when i add "C:\Test\IT\DontInclude\*.*" so it should not include this folder or any files in said subfolder.

My task is rather simple for the moment, it is just meant to search a folder for ANY folders&files older than 45 days but exclude ONE folder and itr content (which is a top level folder) and move the data to a new location. i can do the move part with a syncronize action, and i can set the syncronize action to sync the content based on a file search output to a file, but this is hinged on being any to exclude a folder and its content when doing the initial search.

Any help would be much apprieated!

Kind Regards,
Dan
