Hi,

Is there anyone else having lots of issues with file actions since version 7.8.0 and newer?

We have been having lots of issues mainly with zipping files but also with attaching files to emails, accessing file metadata, etc.

These are files that were in use by other apps, but until now (many years) we have never had an issue. Now we have had to modify many tasks in many machines to copy all these files to temp folders... so many tasks are unnecessarily much longer and complexer than before.

@Oleg, has anything change regarding how RoboTask access files? Perhaps the zip action (but not only that one)?

I always use the latest version of RoboTask and always test pre-release versions ans I don't notice such problems.

Probably you have some system problems. For example you have reinstall system and some user permissions become invalid, because system user ID changed.

Is this bug fix from version 7.8.7 "Access Violation" related to the issue mentioned in this post?

Not. This bug was related to Show Notification action. At some conditions the function uses uninitialized variable and get the access violation exception
