MACRO RECORDING ISSUES

I am having trouble with macro recording in a program on my computer. the action list keeps showing empty although i am using the same method of macro recording in word and for google and it works fine

It seems your application requires right elevation. Do you see the confirmation dialog from UAC system when you start the application?
Macrorecorder can't record anything if you try to record mouse on applications which requires right elevation (for example REGEDIT.EXE)
These applications work in another secure context and system prohibits recording for applications with lower rights.
Maybe you have to run RoboTask in "As Administrator" mode to write your macro. Try this please.
To run RoboTask with right elevation you can use /asadmin key:
RoboTask.exe /asadmin
