I'm uploading files in a directory to an FTP server. It's a one way operation.

So as suggested in other searches. I'm using FTP Synchronization to upload files from a directory to an FTP server.
However the only thing it doesn't do is provide me with any status of what's happening. For instance which file is being uploaded.
Or files that were uploaded.

When downloading i can make an FTP loop. But uploading all files in one directory the only way i'm aware of is a one way synchronization. And it has some indication in the log what files are being processed.
Is there any way for uploads to a ftp server to have a similar log action.

Use SSL FTP actions. These actions similar to FTP and supports plain FTP too.
SSL FTP Synchronization action has the logging feature. Look at the Output activity to log and Output activity to variable parameters
