Ok hi guys,
I use robotask to syncronise outlook .pst folders between a work
desktop and a laptop so i have all my emails at home as well as at work.
My problem is this, my laptop uses a program called desklook that shows
parts of outlook on the esktop (schedule, email etc). the problem
with this is that although outlook is not open desklook locks the pst
files.
Robotask is on the desktop, and is set to close (desktop) outlook on
exit and syncronise files. This only works if i remember to close
desk look on the laptop. Similarly if i tried having robotask on
the laptop, i would have to remember to close outlook on the desktop,
(outlook also locks the pst files), so whatever computer robotask is on
to make the task completly automatic robotask will have to shut dowm a
program on the 'other' comuter.
Any advice on this would be helpfull, incidently im not a programmer so feel free to talk to be like a halfwit!
