Show Notification duration

Hi Oleg,

Just wondering, is there a reason why the duration of a notification display ('Show notification') can only be set between 2 and 20 seconds?
I wrote a task for which it would be useful to display notification until the next notification is triggered by the same task minutes or hours later. But there is no way to make the first notification last that long.
'Show text' is no good as it pops up in the middle of the screen and also because it requires interaction to allow the task to move on to the next action.

Allowing notifications to last and be replaced by subsequent notifications, instead of adding new ones (although this functionality is useful as well, of course), would allow to implement some sort of automatic process/progress monitoring. Or is there another way to achieve this?
