Global variables in a configuration file

Post by juanlu »

Hi Oleg,

We are using RoboTask in multiple machines. The fact that the configuration of RoboTask is mostly saved in the Windows Registry is not ideal, as opposed to having it in .ini files. But if there is anything you could change in the future in this aspect, we would definitely appreciate the global variables.

I know you can export and import global variables, but it is actually kind of a pain, to be hones. If you have 100 global variables and you want to export say 50, that is far from being quick and easy.

I love what you have done with the tsk files. Perhaps you could do something similar for the global variables?

If you move all the configuration to .ini files, you could even make RoboTask portable... that would be so awesome!

Kind regards,
Juanlu.
