Hi;
I want to create a task which waits for a text selection by mouse (highlighting the text) and after that begins to copy the text and past it into a specified field in a separate window.
any help would be much appreciated.

I think that this is not good idea.
You can select some text and run the task but Hot Key trigger.
This is more reliable
