Task Entry - override log settings

Hello,   Is there a way to force a log entry using the 'Log Message' command in a script even when you don't want any others in the log and have the setting for the logs for the Task set to Nothing?   I just want entries in the log that I create.  Maybe there ought to be another log entry type (U) f...

Efficiency question

Interesting..

To further clarify... a user running WinXP creates a file on an Novell volume/directory that RT is set to monitor from the Win2000 machine.

So are you saying this doesn't work correctly except on NTFS volumes and I should try another way?

Thanks.

Efficiency question

Hmm.   I am using File Monitor trigger to trigger a task.  It is set to 120 seconds monitor interval.  I am running RT on Win2000.   A network user runs a process to create a file in the monitored directory when they want to trigger this .  It is the same name and overwrites each time.   My observat...

Efficiency question

Hello,

Which is more efficient? Setting a task to LOOK for a file triggering on a schedule every once in a while OR using the File Monitor trigger to start a task when a file arrives.

Thanks.

Great program! Great support!

I am in day 10 of evaluation.  We are moving most of our jobs out of an old software into RoboTask.  Haven't found anything that is not going to work yet.  The frequent and tight scheduling we have is being handled quite nicely by RoboTask.   In moving most of our jobs from an old software to RoboTa...

To all:   Just wanted to let everyone know what happened on this issue.   Oleg and I continued email exchanges until a small defect was found in the internet plug-in causing some incorrectly formatted email messages.   In a matter of hours, the problem was fixed and I was sent an updated plugin.  If...

You are correct.

I tested Outlook Express here also and it shows the message well.

I tested with Novell Groupwise and it is not displaying correctly.

So that leaves Outlook 2003 not displaying correctly.

What now?

Thanks.

Oleg,

I am using Outlook 2003 for email.  Give me an email address and I will send you one of each and see if you see what I see.

What email client are you using?
