Since the file list may be too big (a few megabytes), I think it's not a good idea to save it in memory.

Why you don't like "additional" files? BTW, you can specify {TempDir}\ListOfNewFiles.txt and the list file will be created in the temporary folder.

Doable except preserving directory structure. But we'll add such feature in the next version. I've created the sample task for you:

FileMonitorDemo2.tsk

Download it and import to the RoboTask (select "Task | Import" menu command).
