Re: How to click a browser extension button?
Thank you for the explanation, Oleg. I haven't played with tolerance, I left it at default. Shall I increase it? Would it click something else if the number is too high? On the computer I used to write the task the whole task works 100%. Then I had to move the task to another computer, where I re-en...

How to click a browser extension button?
Hi, I've created a task where one of the steps is to open given URL in browser (I use Chrome) and to click on one of the browser extensions to run on this page. For this I tried using Move Mouse to Image or Mouse Move (to position) and then left Mouse Click. Both methods work but neither of the two ...

Re: how many people use robotask?
I agree with Bob Gregory, same here. I read the forum only when I have a problem I cannot solve myself and Oleg is always very helpful. I cannot imagine my life without Robotask. Just now I finished writing a massive and complex (by my standards) multi-part task involving running several application...

Indispensable. Now with new interface
For the last few years Robotask has become indispensable in my work as Application Support Analyst and Tester. With its help I can automate many of my user support, system housekeeping and testing tasks which would be tedious and time consuming otherwise. I came across Robotask when I was looking fo...

Re: User-specific settings configuration
Thank you, Oleg, but unfortunately every day our organization wipes out user folders on the C: drive and keeps only the default empty folder structure. Have no idea why, but I can do nothing about it. So I cannot store my tasks on C: drive, I store them on N: drive. And, as you rightly pointed out, ...

User-specific settings configuration
Hello, Is there a way to configure Robotask in such a way that it used settings configuration, like tasks or logs location, based on which profile is logged in to the system? In other words, if there is more that one profile on the same computer and each user stores their tasks/logs in separate loca...

Re: How i can generate many html files
In similar situation I created a number of XML, and even PDF, files using 'Write Text File' but named them with correct extension. I think it can work for HTML files as well.

Re: PSFTP Log
Your suggestion gave me an idea for using PSFTP in my own work, although I'll need to spend considerable amount of time experimenting with it, as I have no experience with this client. Looks like PSFTP runs as a command line application, so I wonder if you have tried using 'Run Console Application' ...

Re: Expand "Log Message" screen
I would also like to have the ability to change size of windows which are currently unchangeable. Not just the Message window, it would be useful for many other windows, if not all of them. One application for such functionality, among others, would be for demos, so that I could re-arrange window on...
